James had been waiting for this past Friday all too patiently. Paige thought the proposal could be coming on Saturday given their family dinner plans, but there were a good number of accomplices masking the actual plans of the weekend. Under the guise of taking a portrait of the Park Cities Presbyterian Church  Oak Lawn West team, both were portrait ready. Paige would be having her picture taken, but under entirely different circumstances. It was an intimate setting for James to get down on his knee, and seeing Paige respond to his proposal is evidence of their excitement to be married. I couldn’t think of a more joyful time to take portraits– and enjoyed seeing Paige’s wheels turn realizing what all had been planned to make the day more of a surprise.

We talked about this moment for months. “It is now my privilege to introduce to you, for the first time, Mr. & Mrs.William Garrett Webb” announced to their friends and family. And here are the first few moments after their walk down the aisle. These are my favorite moments of the wedding day. Seriously– the JOY!

And then we got to the Crescent. And what a statement made in the entry– archways of cherry blossoms.

Bella Flora did a fantastic job with every detail from the bouquets, centerpieces and chandelier over the dance floor.

I don’t think William saw this coming! (Or maybe he did)

There are too many photos worth sharing for one blog post. In two parts, today beginning with the preparations through the ceremony, I am excited to present a few of William & Brianne’s wedding images.  Highland Park United Methodist Church held a gorgeous ceremony. Brianne got ready beforehand at the Crescent, and the courtyard at HPUMC had incredible sunlight for portraits before the ceremony. Tomorrow’s portraits of William and Brianne before the reception, and the reception shots themselves are definitely worth coming back for.
