This morning, the Brides of North Texas Magazine hosted an incredible brunch for its constituents at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel. This was a celebration of sorts revealing the new Fall/Winter issue that is scheduled to be released in stores in August. They revealed the new cover, photographed by Sarah Kate Barger! It was pretty remarkable to be in a room of professionals in the Dallas market from all corners of the industry– event planners, designers, florists, boutiques, photographers, venue coordinators, caterers, etc… only in a city like Dallas is there so much camaraderie and support among professionals.
I think my favorite quote from the morning came from Luke Edmonson when updating the crowd that he was no longer a photographer, rather, he has decided to drop the “p” and is now a Hot-ographer. Talk about a one-liner to drop at an industry brunch.
Bows and Arrows was the talent behind these incredible center pieces. It was a privilege meeting Alicia and Adam, and I cannot wait to collaborate more with these two hopefully in the near future. They will certainly be an upcoming Wednesday Local Wedding Resource on the blog. And their work begs for Style Me Pretty features.

All-in-all it was such a fun networking event to see familiar faces and make new friends. There is so much talent in this city in every facet of wedding planning. In a room like this one you would be hard pressed to not have an exceptional experience with anyone involved. I will be sharing some of the new issue highlights in a personal blog post. I certainly don’t mind having a magazine like Brides of North Texas being homework reading material. Alright, I might not get much sleep tonight studying its 353 pages. Coffee may or may not be brewing.
